I was told by a mechanic that it was probably a strut going bad. 'I noticed a noise in my right rear tire area of my truck. I had to pay for their replacement the vehicle continues to ride 'extremely bumpy'.' 'My lifetime shock absorber warranty was not honored. Ride and noise are improved, almost new in quality' 'Age and miles- there were squeaks and groans and the ride was less controlled. But upset I had to take care of it right after I bought the truck.' I think this could be just wear and tear on the truck. 'This was an issue that I found out about after I bought the truck. The problem was resolved only after replacing all four shocks/struts at a very significant cost.' Even traveling over the slightest bump in would result in a jarring experience. 'I had to replace all four shocks/struts within the last 12 months when I started experiencing problems with a very rough ride in the Ridgeline. 'Power steering pump started making noises when it was loaded (slow speed, parking type turning), so I had it replaced.' 'Both major power steering hoses needed replacement and the pump needed to be rebuilt' Not sure the two are related but the pump has been replaced now' 'Less than 1,000 miles after the steering rack was replaced the power steering pump started whining. 'Power steering pump started making excessive whining noise during parking maneuvers. Se we will continue to put steering fluid into the vehicle'
